The Drum Corps International Tour returns to Riverside Community College’s Wheelock Stadium on Sunday, July 1, for the Western Corps Connection. This event will feature a dynamic lineup of World, Open and All-Age Class corps including the Academy, Blue Devils, City Sound, Gold, Impulse, Mandarins, Pacific Crest, Phantom Regiment, Santa Clara Vanguard, SoCal Dream and Velvet Knights.
Advance tickets for the Western Corps Connection will go on sale through the DCI Box Office beginning at 9 a.m. PT on Monday, April 2.

Did someone say “NEW gym at RCC?” You don’t want to miss this great event, a chance to say goodbye to the various winter guards who will be representing the Southland at the 35th anniversary Winter Guard International Championships, in Dayton, Ohio! What started out many years ago as a low key way for groups to do their shows for each other “one last time” before traveling to WGI, the evening of pageantry has grown to be more and more like a ”real” show, attracting hundreds of fans. Plan to arrive early! Doors open at 7pm and it will be a sell out!

Once in a great while, all of the elements of a team effort come together in an unforgettable experience for the performers AND the audience. It’s rare… but when it happens, it’s a truly magical thing to witness and that’s exactly what happened at the 2012 WGI Championships! At the Saturday night world class finals contest, RCC earned a standing ovation from the roaring ‘near sell out’ crowd, the praise of their staff AND their 4th WGI World Class Gold Medal, based on the second highest score in the 19-year history of WGI Percussion: 97.0875!
