After years of filming and delays, “The Posters Came from the Walls,” a documentary on one of the most influential pop bands of the cold war era, Depeche Mode, is now being screened around the world. And YES! The RCC band (Austin Powers, The Other Sister, American Pie: Band Camp) is featured in this film, which you can see in Los Angeles at the end of this month. Check out the Farmers Insurance Band, represented by the RCC Marching Tigers, as they help open the 2010 Tournament of Roses Parade with Captain Chesley B. Sullenberger III at the helm. Following the band is the Farmers Insurance Group’s float, Salute to the Bands. Farmers Insurance Group is the “Official Supporter of Rose Parade Bands.”
