RCC “Marching Tigers” invited to appear in the 126th Tournament of Roses Parade!

If there’s a celebration somewhere in the world, chances are that RCC has been invited to be in it and this year is no exception! In an unprecedented ’11th hour decision,’ the Pasadena Rose Parade committee decided to ask the RCC Band to be a part of the ‘closing show,’ to add some pizazz to the 2 1/2 minute ‘grand finale’ presentation, to be seen on national television, on January 1, 2015 at 9:52am.

RCC to present the 31st annual “Big Orange Classic” on November 8

It’s patriotic!  It’s Broadway, jazz, rock, classical AND the circus coming to town – all rolled in to one as the RCC Band presents the 31st edition of the “Big Orange Classic” Field Show Tournament! Imagine… 35 high school marching bands from throughout the Southwest – AND the 240-member world-famous RCC “Marching Tigers” – all presenting their ‘half-time’ shows for YOU!  This Saturday, November 8, the college’s venerable Wheelock Stadium will vibrate with the sounds of drums & horns and audiences will be entertained by the some of the best groups of young performers in the exciting world of pageantry!  Mark Your Calendar!  Spread the Word!  Tell a Friend!  It’s gonna’ be great!
