The search is on!
Help me spread the word!
I’m attempting to “build a band,” as one excited musician put it, and time is running out! There are still openings in every section in the prestigious RCC “All Stars” as I work to put together a ‘marching honor band’ to appear as the grand finale in the 25th anniversary New Year’s Day Parade in London! In order for YOU to come out and join in the fun and excitement, you need to send in a payment. Add yourself to the list of nearly 150 who are already on our travel roster!
I hope you’ll join me as we combine performers from the RCC Band with musicians from Riverside King, John North, Riverside Poly, Ramona, Redlands and many other high school band programs from throughout Southern California as we create the latest edition of the Riverside “All Stars!” After trips to Paris in 2000 and Madrid in 2005, it’s time to experience the best that England has to offer. AND, of course, family members are welcome to travel with us. In fact, we’ve already got 45 signed up!
Attached please find the latest newsletter, filled with tons of great information about the preparation schedule for the next meeting and the fall marching season. Mark Your Calendar! Then tell a friend – because you don’t want to miss out on this chance to travel, entertain thousands, make new friends AND earn college credit – all at the same time.
As always, if you have any questions, please shoot me an email. Please read over the newsletter #2 and make every attempt to 1) start your travel account OR 2) bring your account up to date by June 20.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Gary Locke, Director
