Set Your DVRs! RCC to open 121st Rose Parade cast as “Farmer’s Insurance Band”
After numerous roles in dozens of movies and TV shows, it’s time for the 220-members of the RCC “Marching Tigers” to tackle a new one, namely accompanying the tallest float in the Tournament of Roses Parade, performing on international TV as the “Farmer’s Insurance Band!” Be sure to set your TiVo! You won’t want to miss these busy college entertainers as they escort Grand Marshal Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, the “Hero on the Hudson,” and you’ll want to see the reunion of 8 of RCC’s best trumpets – escorting the theme float while playing brand new Herald Fanfare Trumpets, provided by Kanstul Instruments, Inc!
The theme for the first pageantry event of the new decade says it all: “A Cut Above the Rest,” and that’s what these hard-working performers are, representing the Farmer’s Insurance Group in a special blend of flowers, flags and music! Don’t miss one of the largest color guards ever assembled for a parade AND a 70′ tall trumpet player! It’s gonna’ be great!
