RCC Band to Appear In An Episode of TV Show "The Game"
For the second time this season, the RCC Band is set to appear on an episode of The Game, a hit new TV show on the CW. The story line follows the exploits of NFL players and their wives and girlfriends. Back in the fall, members of the drum line were seen in an outdoor setting as characters on the show ran in a park next to Universal Studios. This time, the band worked on site as the fictitious San Diego Sabers celebrated their trip to the Super Bowl.
The show stars Tia Mowry, playing the part of an intelligent young medical student, who is also the girlfriend of a new NFL third-string receiver on The CW's new comedy The Game. You should remember from her six-year stint on the series Sister, Sister, which won four Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards and two NAACP Image Awards. The cast also includes Wendy Raquel Robinson (The Steve Harvey Show), Coby Bell (Third Watch), and Brittany Daniel (Dawson's Creek, Joe Dirt, White Chicks). The Game, (executive producer is Kelsey Grammer!) airs on Sunday nights at 9pm on
the CW Network.
