Sean Vega - Percussion Arranger and Instructor
Sean Vega began his career in music at the age of eight, when he began studying several different instruments from local tutors. By the time Sean reached the age of 16, he began to realize that drumming would become his true passion in life. Since that time Sean has performed with many youth groups in the Riverside area and has collected many scholastic group and individual titles across the state of California. In 1994, Sean auditioned for and was accepted as a member of the Concord Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps. Sean's tenure as a member of the quadline spanned four years, where he accomplished three DCI World Championship titles, three DCI High Percussion awards, and the 1995 tenor individual title. The 2004 season marked Sean's 7th year on the Blue Devil's percussion staff and he is very excited about this summer's BD tour of Europe! Besides his drum corps responsibilities, Mr. Vega is busy arranging for several other groups in Southern California, and in the past has worked at John North HS, Valley View HS and with the Sacramento Freelancers.
This past year, he has been concentrating on teaching only at RCC and on completing his studies at Cal-State University, San Bernardino where he is a senior marketing and communications major. The extra focus has paid off, with the RCC winter drumline winning the 2005 WGI World Championship at the Ervin Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio!
Next up - Sean is the "program coordinator / music director" for a show that will be included in the summer line up of attractions known as "Sea World's Summer Nights," featuring several RCC drummers!

guard programs, but he is equally as intense in his respect for his
competitors. Karl currently is the director of the fall and winter
