Hollywood’s Band

In 1990, the Marching Tigers appeared on television all over the world in the Tournament of Roses Parade. So when the Riverside Auto Center wanted to advertise their local business, they hired the Marching Tigers and RCC Pep Squad to be part of a huge television media campaign. The commercials appeared on local access television and then on ESPN. It is this expose on ESPN that led to our big break in the entertainment industry. Since then, the Marching Tigers have appeared in numerous commercials, television shows, movies, and music videos, as well as various corporate functions.

The special events or pep band performs at all RCC basketball games. They have also performed at major corporate events, including The 2006 Starwood World Conference and the 2005 Mazda Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as personal appearances at special events such as the world premier party for the movie "Dennis the Menace" at Warner Brothers Studios, the world premier engagement for the movie "Hero" at the Century City Cinema, the world premier party for the movie "Space Jam" at Warner Brothers Studios, and an appearance at Kirstie Alley's home for her annual Halloween party for the cast and crew of "Cheers." RCC has played for political figures such as George Bush, Thomas "Tip" O'Neil, George Duekmejian, Gerald Ford and Mary Bono.
